Below is a photo of some things we pulled out of a customer’s bathtub drain recently. (Here in Green Bay.) Usually a bathtub has some kind of strainer of the drain to block foreign objects from going down. But this tub was missing its strainer. So these kid’s toys made it down the drain and plugged the line. The best thing to do is just make sure your showers tubs and sinks all have some kind of strainer over their drains. Then you don’t have to worry about what the kids might put in those fixtures.
The one household fixture that does not have a drain is, of course, the toilet. There you just have to keep an eye on the children and try to keep them from throwing things in there. But if they do, just give us a call.
